Robert Kiserlovski (Tinkoff-Saxo)
Twice a tenth-place finisher at the Giro d’Italia, Robert Kiserlovski has dropped off the radar a little since joining Tinkoff-Saxo but he has proved his credentials plenty of times before.
Kiserlovski’s move from Trek Factory Racing in the winter has seen him struggle for individual opportunities, but he’s a man to look out for in week-long stage races like this.
A strong support squad includes Chris Anker Sorensen, Michael Morkov and Juraj Sagan – brother of Peter – and Tinkoff-Saxo will want to prove there is strength in depth when it comes to their GC options.
Croatian ace Kiserlovski will also want to prove himself, having been given the opportunity to lead the Russian-backed team, so expect to see him in contention.
