They call her The Cannibal and she’s arguably the greatest cyclist on the planet.
Three-time and reigning world road race champion, reigning Olympic champion in the same discipline, former world and Olympic champion on the track, seven-time and reigning world cyclo-cross champion, five-time winner of the women’s road world cup, three-time and reigning Giro d’Italia Femminile winner…it’s quicker to list the international honours that Rabo Liv’s Marianne Vos hasn’t won than those she has.
The mighty Dutchwoman added another title to her impeccable palmares on Sunday, sprinting to victory in the inaugural edition of La Course, a women’s criterium race held in Paris hours before the denouement of the Tour de France.
This incredible footage, recorded from a camera mounted to Vos’ bike, places the viewer in the peloton for parts of the race, including the pulse-racing finale.
