Tinkoff-Saxo’s contribution to the in-race videos which have emerged from the race show Peter Sagan trailing a team-mate in the peloton as they fight to keep their chief contender near to the front of the bunch.
Slovakian national champion Sagan went on to finish fourth, beaten to the last spot on the podium by Greg van Avermaet – the Belgian’s second fourth-place finish in consecutive Monument races after Milan-San Remo.
