Somerset-based Charge has tapped into the every-expanding ‘fixie’ scene so prevalent across London and the Plug Racer is the latest offering from the company to excite those after urban bicycle chic.

For £499.99 you get a polished chrome Tange chromoly frame and fork (it’s actually the same as the standard Plug) but decked out with white deep-section rims, large flange hubs, a flip-flop rear hub for fixed/singlespeed riding, Tektro front and rear brakes, Charge Racer bars and white Spoon saddle and Sugino Messenger crankset.

Anyway, a courier has just been and picked the Racer and taken it back, so it’s probably a good time to crack on with writing the review… [Yes please….ed.]
