Leaders in sports nutrition Science in Sport were once again exhibiting at Eurobike with the well renowned ‘Energy Bar’ at which a range of SiS products were available for sampling.
The theme of the SiS stand this year was the success of the teams Science in Sport currently sponsor and work very closely with. Focus was on the Great Britain Cycling Team who were extremely successful in Beijing and at the World Track Championships, CSC-Saxo Bank who dominated the Tour de France with overall victory for Carlos Sastre and who also took the team title, and the Astana Team who claimed overall victory in the Giro through Alberto Contador.
During the expo CSC-Saxo Bank riders Fabian Cancellara, Kurt Aversen, and Andy and Frank Schleck appeared on the SiS stand to say a big thank you to SiS for all their support and to meet their fans at the show.
“It was fantastic for Science in Sport to have these guys who have achieved so much this year pay a visit to our stand to show their appreciation for all the support we have given them,” said Peter Slater.
“To talk first hand to the likes of Fabian and Andy, and to hear from them how SiS products have genuinely helped them to achieve what they have this year is extremely rewarding for the whole company. It makes you so proud to feel that what we at SiS do and the products we have developed are appreciated by the world’s top cyclists, riders that a lot of people look up to.”
