London shop, Mosquito Bikes, has joined forces with French tour operator, More than 21 Bends, to organise a series of cycle tours in 2013.
The guided trips, intended for all levels of rider, groups, couples, and individuals alike, will include half-board accommodation, test bikes from Mosquito and Prompt, and guest experts offering advice on training and nutrition.
Breaks in France will include train travel to Grenoble for guests, while bikes transport will be handled by Mosquito.
A three-day trip from March 1 to Dorset’s Isle of Purbeck will offer demo bikes from LOOK and nutrition advice from Accelerade.
Two spring training camps will be held in Andalucia; from March 16 to 23, and from March 23 to 30. Both include four nights in Almunecar, on the coast of Andalucia, and three nights in Granada, with an opportunity to visit the Alhambra.
Riders seeking an extended weekend break to ride the route of the 2013 l’Etape du Tour can do so on a trip to Bourg D’Oisans from May 2 to May 6. Bike transport from London is included. Guests will travel to Grenoble by train. Lightweight wheel tests will be offered, as well as nutrition advice from Accelerade.
Half-board accommodation “within staggering distance of the finish line” is offered on Mosquito’s Marmotte weekend to l’Alpe d’Huez from July 4 to July 7 for the one of the world’s toughest sportives. The trip includes bike transport from London.
Riders inspired by the announcement of the route of the 2013 Tour de France, a trip from Bourg d’Oisans from September 12 to September 15 will take in some of the roads ridden in the toughest stages of next year’s race. Bike transport from London is included.
