The marketing team at Nectar, the people behind For Goodness Shakes, have been quick off the mark with this tongue-in-cheek response to the fuel panic.

We reviewed their ‘fuel tank’ packaged Nectar Sports Fuel Concentrate earlier this month and were impressed with what we tasted (Lemon Lime and Light Orange flavours).

Nectar’s Christina Lindquist said: “With the queues at the pumps, petrol fast running out and a big price hike on the way, we thought you might be interested in how the smart commuter is ditching their cars and getting on their bikes.”

The ‘fuel tank’ package allows the drink to be dispensed in hypotonic, isotonic, and hypertonic concentrations with one, two, or three pumps respectively.

Nectar have set aside 10,000 free samples to send out to commuters traveling to work under their own steam who ‘like’ their Facebook page.
