The three-day Bike Bath cycling festival will return in 2013 on June 21-23.
The event will kick off with a 40-mile off-road ride on the Friday evening, while 20, 30, 60 and 100-mile road rides will take place on both the Saturday and Sunday, taking in the new Two Tunnels cycling route, a four-mile stretch of disused railway line.
Riders will enjoy regular feed stations, medical support and mechanical assistance if required.
Following the rides, finishers will enjoy food prepared by Bath-based Michelin-starred chef Rob Clayton, while on the Saturday evening a ‘Celebration of Cycling’ event is planned with speakers from the cycling world.
“Having been really encouraged by all the positive comments from riders and sponsors earlier this year we believe Bath has a cycling weekend to compete with the best cycling events out there,” said
