West country riders are urged to get in fast with entries now open for the Bristol Belter 2014 sportive, which takes place on August 31.
The sportive, which takes in the rolling hills, coastal views, gruelling climbs and rapid, technical gorge descents of North Somerset and the Mendips returns for a fifth year after selling out in 2013.
Organisers have teamed up with a new partner, Giant Bristol, and riders can benefit from Bristol Belter deals on bikes and accessories, while an exclusive range of the brand’s 2015 models will be on show at the event.

The three routes available for this year’s event are the Standard Belter, a 115km distance featuring 1,300m of climbing and three feed stations, the Classic Belter, which is 155km long and features 1,900m of climbing with four feed stations, and the Mini Belter, which is 75km with 1,050m of climbing and one feed station.
This year’s event will also see the race headquarters moved to Bristol Cathedral Choir School, where post-ride refreshments and the Belter finishing present can be collected.
Organisers have also teamed up with E3coach to offer tailored training solutions for al Bristol Belter participants.
Entry, which includes electronic chip timing, free parking, free use of the facilities including showers, a finishing present and certificate, costs £27 or £22 for the Mini Belter.
