Evans Cycles urge sportive riders to continue through winter

Full calendar of Ride It events to run through to March

Evans Cycles are challenging sportive riders to keep going through the cold season, with places available now on their Autumn/Winter RIDE IT series events.

Running through to March, the series includes route option from ten to 90 miles, with events organised across the country.

This year’s calendar also includes a new format, Sportive Cross, which will tackle a mixed terrain route for those keen to make the switch to cyclo-cross.

Evans Cycles hope to keep riders on the road during the autumn/winter, having announced Ride It events through to March

Entry for all events starts at £7.50, with free rides for kids included, and features fully way-marked routes, mechanical support, electronic chip timing, professional event photography and feed stations.

A free box of High5 gifts is also on offer to anybody signing up to an event more than eight weeks in advance, worth £10.

Garmin GPS units and Louis Garneau clothing is also provided on the day, for riders to ‘test drive’ or purchase through exclusive offers on the day.

Event manager Dean Stacey said: “Each ride is designed for all fitness levels, including free rides for kids.

“We believe the series represents the best value for money, not only in terms of the ride but the extras along the way compared to everything else that is out there.

“We’re really happy with the way the new schedule of events has come together and we can’t wait to get stuck in.”
