The Hub, Redbourn
The Hub has enjoyed such success since opening in the spring of 2012 that it is now just one half of the cycling services offered on Redbourn’s High Street, with a workshop and shop located just up the road at The Bike Loft.
The café, however, has retained its place in the heart of the rural village, situated in a 17th Century building to offer a snug location for coffee and cake. Wicker chairs and pillows ensure relaxation is high on the agenda, while there’s also outdoor seating.
The walls are lined with pictures from cycling’s rich history, while there’s plenty of memorabilia. Organised rides once a month take in the best local lanes and there’s a turbo night, too. All that makes The Hub an ideal stop when exploring the Hertfordshire countryside.
