Rapha Cycle Club, Soho
The Rapha Cycle Club initially opened in July 2012 but was relaunched in February 2014 after expansion work and has become a central London hub for cyclists in the West End.
Both a shop – stocking the full Rapha range – and a café, the Cycle Club also shows live racing, and hosts exhibitions and book launches, alongside many other regular events.
Formerly the ground floor of the Regent’s Palace Hotel, the café is now cycling, cycling, cycling, acting as a departure point for regular weeknight and weekend rides, and with coffee aplenty. A vintage Citreon ‘H’ van, one of a fleet that has become Rapha’s signature vehicle, doubles as a dressing room.
Such is the popularity of the London Cycle Club, Rapha have opened similar cafés in Manchester, New York, San Francisco, Sydney, Tokyo and Osaka.
