The NSPCC Tour of England sportive series will return next year with two more tours added to the billing after the success of the inaugural two-day events this year.
Boasting more than 170 miles of riding each, over two days, the series was launched with the Tour of the South East and Tour of Yorkshire this year and both return in 2015.
Entries to the former are already open, while two more events will be announced soon.
Timed climbs, time trial sections and full support with each rider – including domestiques, motorcycle outriders, mechanics and soigneurs for the two seeded groups – are all included at each event.
The NSPCC Tour of the South East takes place on Saturday June 6 and Sunday June 7 2015 and more information can be found here.
Also added to the billing in 2015 will be the Tour of England Mallorca training camp, hosted by Just Pedal, which will be held from March 21 to March 28.
Richard King, director of organisers Ride2Raise, said: “After the great response we’ve had from this year’s events we are pleased to bring even more to the series for 2015.
“The training camp will further enhance the rider experience in the build-up, and help riders prepare for the tough challenges that lie ahead, while we’ve fine-tuned the events themselves, adding flat TT sections to the popular hill climbs, as well as incorporating some private or closed roads into the routes.
“There will also be improved feed stations and extra domestiques supporting the riders out on the road. All in all it’s shaping up to be another exciting year.”
More than 280 riders tackled the events last year, which raise money for the NSPCC, and organisers have promised the new events will see the series head to new regions next year.
