One of the UK’s greatest ever riders, strongmen and all-round cycling legends, Sean Yates, has entered the information super highway from his Forset Row home with www.seanyates.co.uk
This new site that Tour de France yellow jersey hero, Sean and Luke Evans are running with diary entries, pictures, his racing career and some coaching and ride info. As the big man states;
“Here you can read my online diary about the ups and downs of my job as a directeur sportif with team Discovery, plus other stuff from my own racing to motorbikes and cutting hedges (winter training). I can coach you too, and I’ve got a day-ride package that could be fun”
From his diary he says of the recent Perfs Pedal Race – “Then in the Perfs Pedal road race on Sunday down at Rowlands Castle I was not even on this planet, what a waste of time that was. not really sure what my problem was but I was definitely not in the mood for racing. The weather was what I would call diabolical, I dont know, maybe I am getting soft in my old age.”
Sean Yates was a Professional cyclist for 15 years:
• 12 Tours de France
• Tour de France yellow jersey
• Tour de France stage winner
• Fifth in Paris-Roubaix
• Tour of Belgium winner
• UK pro road race champion
• UK 25 and 50-mile TT champion
Pictures from the training camps and a sneak preview of Lance’s Mountain Bike – perhaps he’s decided to hit the dirt?
