Velotastique: a month of content inspired by Le Tour on RCUK

Timothy John Timothy John

July is upon us: a month dominated by a little known bicycle race in France.

We’re taking our inspiration from Le Tour this month, naturellement, and have a fleet of French machinery to test.

Time, LOOK, and Lapierre will be supplying our test bikes, lending an appropriately Gallic flavour to our Gear section.

We’ll also be bringing you a summer clothing special, featuring clothing from a host of brands including Assos, Craft, Endura, Exteondo, MOA, Ravito, and RH+.

Our racing coverage will be dominated by Le Grand Boucle and we’ll bring you daily reports, photo galleries, and video highlights, as well as in-depth analysis at key stages of the race.

If you haven’t signed up yet to our Fantasy Tour de France game, you’re missing out on the chance to win thousands of pounds worth of prizes from Specialized. The good news is you can join at any time. Anyone who signed Cancellara, Sagan, or Cavendish must be feeling pretty smug by now!

We’re all entitled to our opinions, but some are more informed than others. We’ll be getting the view from a British road race legend who’s been there and done it: Malcolm Elliot, who rode the 1987 Tour with the trail blazing ANC Halfords team.

The cycling world doesn’t stop for the Tour de France, of course. As well as our Tour content, we’ll stay across all the breaking news to bring you gear reviews, information on sportives, coaching advice, and interviews with the biggest names in cycling.

Chapeau!
