World Cup Track racing in Manchester

After the recent efficient showing at the LA round of the World Cup, the British team will be competing with 225 top international riders at the crucial third round of the World Cup in Manchester this January. Team morale must be high after the best year in Great Britain’s cycling history and this is one of the finest events to come to the UK in many years.

Jason Queally is currently leading the ‘Kilo Cup’ and he takes on Theo Bos along with World champion and Olympic fast guy, Chris Hoy.

Victoria Pendleton’s gold medal in the Keirin in the recnt LA round of the World Cup gets her first place in the World Cup classification and on home turf she has to be the favourite for this exciting race. Emma Davies will be looking for better than silver and bronze in the pursuit and points, so plenty of home talent with a chance of glory.
