It’s mainly budget stuff for 2007, but it’s good news for those after cheaper components with improved specifictions and quality. Shimano have added in a few re-vamps of the wheels and a couple of new compact chainsets for the budget groups.
Tiagra and Sora get a revamp and there’s a cable activated disc for road bike levers, which could be interesting, although it’s 135mm rear spacing which means it will require a special frame.
This is just a preview, the full report will follow next week, once we’ve sorted through all the pictures… Much of this gear will be in the shops towards the end of the year, they will be available from Ultimate Pursuits stores.
