Credit to the organisers of the Tour of Britain. The 2014 race has, so far, produced four superb stages.
Michal Kwiatkowski was the rider to prosper on stage four with a late acceleration to beat Albert Timmer (Giant-Shimano) and Jack Bauer (Garmin-Sharp) to the line after the trio were part of a select group of riders to go clear on the final short, sharp climb in Bristol.
Kwiatkowski now tops the general classification by three seconds from previous leaderĀ Edoardo Zardini (Bardiani CSF) with four stages remaining.
