Kinesis UK used the annual Core Bike Show to unveil three disc-ready framesets for 2015: the 4S Disc, GF_Ti Disc and Crosslight 5T Disc.
All three machines are obvious candidates for the disc treatment, from a brand which has its finger on the pulse as to the demands of year-round UK riding.
The 4S, or Four-Seasons, is Kinesis’ performance-focused training bike, based around a ‘Kinesium’ frame (an enhanced 6000-series aluminium alloy, which is a claimed 25 per cent stronger than 6061 at the same weight), while the GF_Ti is th Sussex-based firm’s luxurious, mile-munching titanium chassis. The Crosslight 5T, meanwhile, is a cyclo-cross/commuting machine.
Let’s take a closer look at all three frames.
