Sir Bradley Wiggins will attempt to break Alex Dowsett’s UCI Hour Record in London on Sunday (June 7) and you can watch for free on Sky Sports.

The world time trial champion is looking to break fellow Brit Dowsett’s 52.937km mark, set last month, and has targeted a distance in excess of 55km.

And the former Team Sky man’s attempt will be broadcast live on Sky Sports on Sunday evening, with free streaming on the web for UK viewers without a Sky subscription.

Starting at 6pm, the programme will feature 30 minutes of build-up before Wiggins’ attempt starts at 6.30pm, with Dame Sarah Storey and Rob Hayles offering expert analysis.

There will also be half-an-hour of reaction after the attempt.
