British Cycling today announced a squad of 19 riders to compete in the first round of the 2009/10 UCI Track Cycling World Cup Classics which take place at  Manchester Velodrome from 30 October – 1 November 2009.

Chris Hoy will be spearheading Team Sky+HD, back in his first major international competition since his crash at the World Cup meeting in Copenhagen last season.

Team GB are also fielding a strong team with no less than six Olympic medallists on the squad, whilst double Junior World Champion Becky James, who has shown real talent this year, makes her Senior debut at the World Cup.
