Folding bicycle specialist Dahon recently unveiled the BioLogic Bike Mount, a bicycle mounting system designed specifically for the Apple iPhone.
The BioLogic Bike Mount securely attaches an iPhone or iPod Touch to a bike’s handlebars or stem so rider’s can track GPS position, speed, or distance travelled, while they ride.
“The iPhone has a phenomenal GPS mapping function that’s great when you just want to get on your bike to start exploring,” stated Joshua Hon, Dahon vice president. “But we weren’t able to find any good bike mounts. I scoured Amazon and the Internet for months but couldn’t find anything and ended up using a rubber band for quite a few months. So we sat down with a partner, drew up the specs, and ended up with the Bike Mount.”
The Bike Mount features a weatherproof case with a welded touch sensitive membrane so your iPhone or iPod Touch is completely protected from the weather but easily accessible and fully functional.

The Biologic Bike Mount is also compatible with the newly announced Biologic ReeCharge, which will keep your iPhone charged while you ride.
The BioLogic Bike Mount will be available in January for €49.
