Custom painted Cervelo R3-SL ready for the Tour de France
Carlos Sastre will be hoping to defend his Tour de France title when the race gets going this weekend, and to mark the occasion Cervelo have announced the launch of two limited edition R3-SL and S3 framesets.
Both frames are finished in a striking black and yellow pinstripe paintjob. There will be just 50 of these R3-SL framesets produced worldwide, and to commemorate the bikes role in Sastre’s victory in the stage race last year, each lucky buyer will receive a signed yellow jersey and a certificate of authenticity to add to the exclusivity factor.
The R3-SL TdF LTD should be available by mid July, priced at £3099.99 with only a small quantity of the 50 pieces worldwide destined for the UK.
For when speed matters, the specially painted Cervelo S3 should suffice…
The S3 TdF LTD shares the same striking black with yellow pinstripe detailing as the R3-SL but celebrates Cervelo Test Team’s inaugural Tour de France. 200 of the S3 TdF LTD will be produced worldwide and unlike the R3-SL. It’ll set you back £3499.99, with availability expected by mid July.
Both frames come complete with 3T Funda Team forks, FSA integrated headset and seatpost. The R3-SL is supplied with a 3T Doric Offset LTD, whilst the S3 comes with Cervélo’s own carbon aero SL seatpost.
