Shutt VR is a new British clothing company founded when two avid cyclists, during a ride around the Yorkshire Dales, hit upon the idea of creating their own brand of British-made and well-designed, high-quality jerseys that don’t cost a fortune.
The company source the material from a British manufacturer and a Yorkshire-based garment maker puts them together. Having launched just two months ago, Shutt VR has already expanded its range and now offers four cycling jerseys.
The four jerseys in the range are made from Dri-wool, a Merino wool-based fabric similar to Sportwool, and cost from between £60 and £80, which isn’t bad for a British made Merino jersey. The designs are understated and classy, with a range of choice colours to choose from.
Sizing is always a tricky area to get right, and here Shutt VR have aimed their sizing at the ‘normal everyday rider – racing cut but not too tight, comfortable but still fitted.’ Shutt VR also offer a bespoke service; thanks to manufacturing in the UK they’re able to create any combination you want, with a seven day turnaround.
