The 2013 UCI WorldTour calendar has been unveiled.
Some 29 events have been packed into next year’s calendar, which starts on January 22 with the Santos Tour Down Under.
A new race, the Tour of Hangzhou, a five-day stage race to be held in China a week before the Tour of Beijing, has been added to October’s schedule.
Elsewhere, the Northern Classics begin next year on March 23 with E3 Harelbeke, and conclude on April 7 with Paris-Roubaix. Ardennes Week starts on April 14 with the Amstel Gold Race.
The Clasica San Sebastian, Spain’s only one-day race on the WorldTour calendar, will move to July 27. Last year, it was held in August, after the Olympic Games.
We’ll bring you comprehensive coverage of every race from the WorldTour calendar next season, with images from official photographer, Stefano Sirotti.
