Rapha have announced a limited edition run of Team Sky replica jerseys which supporters can personalise with their own name and nationality.
Team Sky were the among first to put a rider’s surname and flag on their jersey and now fans of the British WorldTour team can follow suit.
A limited number of replica jerseys will be available for personalisation from www.rapha.cc and will go on sale for two weeks from Friday April 26 until Friday May 10.
The jerseys will be delivered by Friday June 28, a day before the start of the 100th edition of the Tour de France, and will cost £95 each, a £20 premium over the standard replica jersey.
The replica jersey is just that: a replica of the team edition jersey but at a more affordable price. The jersey, which has a full-length front zip, is made from 100 per cent polyester, with open mesh side panels to regulate body temperature and three rear pockets.
Rapha are in their first season as Team Sky’s clothing sponsor, having replaced Adidas, and the full range is split into three tiers: ProTeam, which offers customers the same kit as used by the team; a Replica kit range, which carries the Team Sky look but without the same level of performance or price tag; and a Supporter line, which includes a jersey, jeans and a selection of t-shirts.
