Bradley Wiggins’ bid for a second Grand Tour victory at the 2013 Giro d’Italia is set to grip the nation in the manner of his Tour de France triumph last year.
Blanket coverage of the Londoner’s bid for the maglia rosa began almost a week ago and with the race due to start today in Naples, coverage of the Giro is likely to dwarf that of all other sporting events.
