The Pro Vado is one of those garments that, due to its versatility, occupies a priority position in the drawer containing all my cycling kit, bridging as it does the gap between summer and winter.

What makes the Pro Vada a good multi-purpose garment is the Hydro Fit fabric, a micro-weave polyester with fleece lining. It’s well appointed too, with three rear pockets, sticky gripper tape around the elasticated waist to prevent riding up, full-length zipper, tall collar and elasticated cuffs. The styling is smart and understated, with red and white detailing, with just two small logos front and rear.
