Carrie Beddingfield riding at Hillingdon
|
This weekend there are two chances to ride on the road with a bunch of women riders. You can take your pick from a friendly womens ride from AW Cycles in Reading on Saturday 2nd December and a road race training session at Newchapel in Surrey, where
John Leitch hosts another Power Pack/Starter Pack training day for 3rd Cat and 4th Cat male riders and women wanting to race next year.
Saturday 2nd December
Join SheCycles members on a 30 mile road ride around the Chilterns starting from AW Cycles in Reading. The ride will be on morning of Saturday 2nd December and lead by Carrie Bedingfield.
The day
Meet at the AW Cycles car park at 10am with a view to actually setting off at 10:15ish – so plenty of time to get your kit on and your bike sorted if you’re driving over.
The plan
A 30 mile loop through lovely countryside, avoiding traffic the route is rolling (i.e. a little bit hilly) at a steady pace. But if you’re all keen to do a flat ride, put a note on the forum and Carrie can revise the ride!
Coffee & croissants at AW Cycles will be provided when we get back!
Contact: Post a message on the
SheCycles Forum. if you want to come along, all levels catered for!
Sunday 3 December

The plan
Exercises based on full-on efforts up Hornecourt Hill followed by attacks along Gayhouse Lane towards the windmill
Individually a full-on attack up the hill so you can use the format on your own for interval training in the spring in groups some individuals attacking before the foot of the climb some individuals attacking on the final 10% of the climb
