Mallorca’s Col de Cal Reis, better known as Sa Calobra or the Cobra, has become Mallorca’s most fabled ascent.

It is draped on the mountainside like a coiled snake, with a series of steep hairpins rising just over 2,000ft over the course of six miles.

And our man George Scott has ridden it, and blogged about the experience.
