RoadCyclingUK’s Fantasy Tour de France game is back ahead of this weekend’s Grand Départ in Yorkshire and here’s your opportunity to guide your nine-rider dream team to glory in cycling’s greatest race.

This year we’ve teamed up with Chapeau!, Suplest and Juice Lubes to give you the chance to win superb prizes throughout the Tour.

All you need to do is head to fantasycycling.roadcyclinguk.com, register (if you played our 2014 Giro d’Italia game then you can use the same username and password to login) and select nine riders, a bonus team and a bonus stage using your €65 million budget.

How to play

You will score points if any of your riders finish in the top 20 on a stage, if they help a team-mate to victory, or if they lead the overall, mountains or best young rider classifications. Stages are split into two categories, with category one stages – the key days where the Tour will effectively be won – worth 50 per cent more points. You’ll also receive double points on your selected bonus stage and you’ll get more points if any riders from your selected bonus team finish in the top five on a stage.

You must submit your squad (including a bonus team and bonus stage) by 10:00 BST on July 5 to be eligible to score points on stage one. You’ll also receive 24 transfers to use throughout the race. Click here to read the full rules and develop your strategy to win the Tour de France.

First prize

The top scoring directeur sportif after three weeks of racing will walk away with a Chapeau! Tour Edition Etape jersey, Chapeau! Pave bib shorts, a Chapeau! jacket and a pair of Suplest S8 cycling shoes – together worth more than £600!

Second prize

The RoadCyclingUK reader who finishes second will win a Chapeau! Tour Edition Etape jersey, Chapeau! Pave bib shorts, a Chapeau! gilet and a pair of Suplest S8 cycling shoes – worth more than £580!

Third prize

If you finish third you’ll win a Chapeau! Tour Edition Etape jersey, Chapeau! Pave bib shorts, a Chapeau! base layer and a pair of Suplest S8 cycling shoes – worth more than £530!

Weekly prizes

What’s more, the top three scoring directeur sportifs on each week of the Tour de France will win a Chapeau! and Juice Lubes bundle worth approximately £100 for first place, £75 for second place and £50 for third place.
