Top five training tunes: Matt Brammeier (Omega Pharma-QuickStep)

Matt Brammeier won the Irish national road race title for a third consecutive year last month.

A Liverpudlian by birth, Matt rides in cycling’s elite WorldTour with the Belgian Omega Pharma-QuickStep squad of Classics king, Tom Boonen.

Last year, Matt rode alongside Mark Cavendish at the now disbanded HTC-Highroad squad, and now finds time between competing in cycling’s most prestigious races to write a blog for RCUK.

Here are Matt’s top five training tunes, an eclectic mix featuring rock, hip hop, and indie pop.

Nothing quite gets you in the mood for a hard training session like the right soundtrack.

We’ve teamed up with i-Sport to offer 10 sets of i-Sport in-ear headphones worth £149.95 to winners who tell us their five favourite training tunes.

One lucky person from the 10 winners will also walk away with a Matrix R38 wheelset. Click here to enter.
