Colnago Strada SL
Colnago Strada SL
It seems like all the major brands have a lightweight aluminium bike in the range now, and Colnago are no different.
The SL in the name stands for the fact that this one’s made using Colnago’s top-end alloy tech, making for the lightest possible frame weight – with the frameset coming in at 1.35kg, not too shabby at all, if not the lightest alloy frame out there.
Cable routing is external (which is actually better from a maintenance point of view), and the seattube has a similar profile to the C60 starting as a round tube at the top, but gradually becoming rectangular as it meets the bottom bracket.
It’s available in two specs: Shimano Ultegra and 105 – no Tiagra model like last year – and UK availability and pricing has yet to be confirmed.
