Disaster struck Lance Armstrong’s comeback campaign recently when he broke his collarbone in a fall during the the Vuelta Castilla y Leon, offering RCUK readers the chance to think up a second caption to a pic of the Texan with SIS director and fellow collar bone breakee Pete Slater.

Perhaps because the picture had already been used for the purpose, there were fewer entries than last time. Nevertheless, there were several crackers including ‘Lance meets his bone-graft donor for the first time’ from Bruce Woodhouse.

However, the two winners, each receiving a Sports Beans bidon containing packets of Sports Beans, are: JJ with ‘I see you got into the break as well’ and Steve Reyvis with ‘Lance gets his ‘collar felt’ as he is arrested by the wrong arm of the law!’.
