Svein Tuft’s Scott Foil (Giro d’Italia)
Orica-GreenEDGE afforded birthday boy and long-suffering domestique Svein Tuft the perfect present on stage one of the Giro d’Italia – the maglia rosa.
Tuft led the Australian team home as they won the team time trial in Belfast, and Scott wasted little time in celebrating the achievement with a pink Scott Foil arriving in Belfast for stage two.
Adam Yates’ machine, as spotted at Challenge Mallorca, shows how it is supposed to look in regular Orica-GreenEDGE colours, with Tuft’s bike having a pink makeover to match the Giro’s leader’s jersey.
A graphic detailing the entire parcours of the Giro was emblazoned on the toptube, while pink handlebar tape, a pink Scott logo and pink SRM Power Control 7 computer continued the theme.
Scott presented a similarly striking pink machine to Michael Matthews following the conclusion of stage two, when the Australian took the pink jersey from his team-mate.
