According to the Bianchi website, the 928 is described so:
Speed is riding downhill with a clear head along mountain passes, it is the wind calling your name when you finally reach the end of the most gruelling climb. This machine is fast like the wind: not only for its name, or the peculiarity of its transmission, or for its wheels. Thanks to the combination of the best components and the much-acclaimed, and precious, qualities of the monocoque frame in UHM/IM fibre; an exclusive design by Bianchi, this bicycle is one of the models that stands out from the entire 2005 racing range. A real guarantee.’
Yes, that’s what it says. So, once again, it sounded good to us, and so over the next month we’ll be putting the £1600 Bianchi 928 through its paces – the usual stuff; commuting to work, some long weekend rides and the odd race. Check back soon…
