The hundredth edition of cycling’s greatest race saw a peloton filled with jaw-dropping machinery.
Peter Sagan rolled out on a special Hulk-themed Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi Mod, which he raced to a second consecutive overall victory in the points competition. Expect to see more green bikes for the Slovak sensation next year.
Cofidis climber, Daniel Navarro, a top 10 finisher in the hundredth Tour, had to ‘make do’ with the machine voted ‘bike of the year’ in 2012 by RCUK readers – the LOOK 695SR.
The LOOK 695 Aerolight, whose launch we reported on from the Grand Départ in Corsica, was reserved for other members of the team.
