Café du Cycliste, a French cyclewear brand, has just launched, bringing high-quality, retro-inspired clothing to the market.
The company, founded on the Côte d’Azur, has launched with two ranges – the Sur le Bitume road series and the Sur le Zinc urban series.
The Michelle Jersey (£103), part of the urban collection, is manufactured using a 55 per cent Merino, 45 per cent polyester combination, resulting in a lightweight and breathable piece.
Technical features on the short sleeve, full zip Michelle Jersey – available both in light grey and mustard – include a pump pocket, zipped chest pocket, three back pockets, and an iPod cable hole.
The remainder of the Sur le Bitume range comprises the Joséphine Bib Shorts (£116), Yolande Long Sleeve Jersey (£125) and Henriette Jersey (£89).
As for the Sur le Zinc urban collection, there are two short sleeve jerseys on offer – the four-buttoned Simone Jersey (£95) and full-zip Yvette Jersey (£103).
Both look ideal for a ride around town – or to the pub – with their casual styling, but with cycling-specific features, like the rear pockets and reflective detailing.
