The storms of recent days have shown that winter is just getting into its stride.
With this in mind, we opened a box of kit from Wiggle house brand, dhb, which we hope will stave off the conditions of deepest winter.
Inside, we found the Vaeon Zero Padded bib-tight, made from a nylon/poloyester/elastane fabric that dhb reserve for the coldest conditions, a fleece-lined, long-sleeve jersey, the aptly-named Vaeon Roubaix, and the Amberley II glove, a highly regarded feature of the Portsmouth firm’s range, equipped with a fabric to allow the use of touch-screen devices.
We’ll be putting each of these garments to the test in the weeks ahead. Follow the links to reviews from an earlier consignment of dhb clothing, including the merino short sleeve base layer and the Extreme Weather Neoprene Overshoe.
We’ll be out and about in this latest kit in the weeks ahead and will report back with separate reviews. Check back soon for the final verdict on each. In the meantime, let’s take a close look at the fit, fabric, and features of the various garments before the testing begins.
