The Edge Road Bar is firstly damn light at just 190g but despite the severe lack of weight feels solid under our best efforts to exert some twisting action into it.
It features some interesting details, such as the double-grooved channel on the underside for tidying away cables, and a semi-flat top section and a smooth ergo bend to the drops. At the bar ends is an innovative bar plug: a small rubber bung wraps over the end of the bar tape creating a smooth and tidy end to the handlebar – which beats trying to ram traditional bar plugs into. There’s textured sections to which brake hoods clamp to and around the central section for the stem to clamp onto.
