Vitus Vitesse Evo Team
Tour of Britain fans may recognise the Vitus Vitesse Evo Team as the bike on which An Post-Chain Reaction tackled the roads of Wales, Scotland and England at this year’s race.
It’s a bike we’ve ridden, too, and, while the Vitesse Evo may not have the standout aero or comfort features of many of today’s bikes, it’s a highly capable, race-ready all-rounder. The frame is made from super-light T700 HM-UD carbon fibre, which serves up a stiff, responsive ride, and the 27.2mm seatpost and skinny seatstays ensure it’s plenty comfortable enough.
Vitus Vitesse Evo Team – review
Coming from Chain Reaction Cycles’ in-house brand, it’s fair value at £2,999.99 with a Shimano Dura-Ace 9000 mechanical groupset. All-up weight is 7.2kg, so it’ll leave you few excuses when the road goes uphill. One for your shopping list? Take a closer look at the Cycle Show.
