Hincapie launches new winter clothing

Latest clothing uses new Eschler softshell material

Swiss knitwear specialist Eschler and cycling apparel brand Hincapie Sportswear have collaborated in a new range of cold weather clothing.

The new Alpe collection use Eschler’s new softshell material, which ‘combines high elasticity and great isolation with full weather protection’, in a range comprising jackets, tights and accessories.

Hincapie Sportswear was launched in 2002 by Rich Hincapie, the brother of George Hincapie, and the brand has since established itself in the US market with sharply designed and high performance clothing.

The gender specific Alpe Softshell styles feature an ergonomic shape to ensure perfect fit in the riding position. Details for the jackets include two front hand warmer pockets, plenty of storage space in the two back pockets with an internal pump holder and a brushed collar lining with chin guard.

On the Alpe Tights (with and without bib construction), the US brand focuses on detailed body-mapping for extra protection where needed and breathability. Reflective piping and trim on all garments ensure improved visibility in low light conditions.
