HOY Vulpine have launched a limited edition range of kit to celebrate Sir Chris Hoy’s career achievements.
The Palmarès collection includes a jersey, in male and female fits and priced at £115, and a cap, which costs £15. Both are only as limited edition items from www.vulpine.cc until they sell out.
Hoy is Great Britain’s most successful Olympian and the Palmarès jersey has six gold bands and a silver band to represent the Scotsman’s Olympic haul.
Hoy won his first Olympic silver medal in the team sprint at the 2000 Olympic Games, before claiming his sixth and final gold in London 12 years later.
“This is a performance aero jersey without the in your face logos and brash colours,” said Hoy. “Both myself and Nick [Hussey, Vulpine founder] wanted this to be a classy celebration of my Palmarès and I think we’ve definitely achieved this.
“Having retired from competitive cycling three years ago and with 2016 being such a big year for sport, we thought it would be fun and timely to look back at my career and put all the results together into a piece I hope cycling fans will enjoy owning and wearing.”
