Kinesis has launched the RC09 cyclo-cross fork, a 460g monocoque carbon fork that Upgrade Bikes says “sorts out the age old judder problem.”

It’s made using a leading edge blade design with an optional brake hanger to provide powerful and judder free braking. The forged alloy hanger bolts to a specially shaped crown and eliminates the need for a steerer mounted hanger, which does away with the need for a long drop of cable between the top of the headset and straddle cable. The use of a crown mounted hanger completely eliminates any judder that may otherwise occur.

Another benefit of the new design is that a lower headset stack can be achieved to help riders reach their desired position.
