Rapha’s new Bomber Jacket has been released this week and is described as a “cycling interpretation of a fashion icon”.
It’s actually an updated version of the Fixed Jacket, now renamed to fit in with a bit of a rejig of the Rapha range. It’s made using Schoeller 3xDry fabric lined with a brushed polyester for the main body which is water resistant and breathable and for the shoulders a tough waterproof Cordura.
Articulated shoulders give room for stretch on the bike and a rib hem keeps the jacket well shaped while riding. There are features like a large chest pocket with a discrete zip, zipped side pockets and a zipped pocket on the right forearm. There’s loops and holes to feed the headphone cables from your MP3 player in the chest pocket too.
The left arm features an embroidered Rapha logo, while a smaller logo appears on the right wrist. There’s reflective strips on the left chest area, on the hem and on both cuffs.
Available now priced £210.00 in six sizes.
