Lezyne and HTC-Highroad have teamed up to create a limited edition tool kit in memory of Carla Stewart.
HTC-Highroad rider Stewart, who represented South Africa at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and finished eighth in the women’s road race, was killed after being hit by a truck while training.
The custom tool kit, of which only 2000 will be made, is engraved with HTC-Highroad logos and anodized in yellow and black. For every tool kit sold, $2 will be donated to Carla’s Circle, a fund created by Highroad Sports to help Carla’s family and continue her interests.
The HTC-Highroad tool Kit will be available in May online at www.lezyne.com and will cost $219.99 (UK price TBC).
