Mekk Primo
The top model in Mekk’s range is the Primo. It’s a full-on aero road bike that comes complete with the race ready geometry you’d expect.
The price for the entry-level version of the Primo has increased for 2016, up to £2,200 from last year’s two grand, but you get improved aero profiles on the tubing, full internal cable routing, cabling hidden behind the steerer tube/stem and a rear brake hidden behind the bottom bracket.
Mekk have a lot of faith in the Primo, to the point where they offer it right up to a full Dura-Ace Di2 build for the 8.0 model that comes in at £5,500. The five builds are 105 on the Primo 6.2, Ultegra on the 6.6, Ultegra Di2 on the 7.0, Dura-Ace on the 7.5 and Dura-Ace Di2 on the 8.0.
