It’s that time of year when all the bike brands start to show us what’s on offer for the next 12 months. The latest to do this is Cannondale, the Connecticut-based brand famous both for their World Tour cycling team and for producing bikes that have taken wins in some of the world’s biggest races.Â
But as you’d expect from Cannondale, they haven’t been resting over the last year, and have been scouring around for any ways possible to improve upon one of the best bikes around: the Supersix Evo. And would you believe it, they have. On paper, the new Supersix is a real step up from its predecessor, and should prove just as – if not more – popular.
Elsewhere Cannondale have been messing around with the very fundamental concept of what a road bike is and come up with something that looks quite special in the new Slate. You have to see it to believe it, but trust us when we say that the boundaries between what you think a traditional road bike is and ‘those other bikes’ is becoming more blurred by the year.
And that’s not all, there’s a new Adventure Synapse, a Touring bike and the long awaited CAAD12 as well as more new colourways than you can shake a seatpost at. Check out what’s on offer, then sit down and figure out which kidney you’ll sell to pay for everything you end up wanting. Five new bikes isn’t over the top, right?
