C Originals SV84
Here’s a rundown on the latest gear to arrive in the RoadCyclingUK postbag from C Originals, BBB, Osprey and author Richard Moore.
C Originals may be a new name but they are no stranger to the helmet business. They’ve been supplying products to the top helmet brands for more than 20 years but have now set-up their own sales network.
The range stretches across road, time trial, commuter, mountain bike and BMX helmets, with prices starting at £24.99 and stretching towards £99.99.
We’ve just received the SV84 to test. It’s available in four colours – yellow, pearl white, titanium or black – and has 23 air vents, a quick release retention system at the rear and weighs 270g. There are two sizes, small/medium (56-58cm) and medium/large (56-61cm).
The SV84 is CE EN1078 certified and retails at £59.99.
