New Kona road bikes

If there was ever a brand that could use the phrase ‘steel is real’ then it has to be Kona. They have reverted to their original mountain bike material for their top road frame and a couple of the x-country hardtails.

Kona Deluxe road frame

This is a very serviceable Deda frame, backed up with Deda carbon seat and chainstays. In a semi compact design the Deluxe looks set to be a very lively performer.
A £1500 price is very competitive considering the Ultegra components and Easton finishing kit. You can get the frame only for £550. Sizes: 49, 52, 54, 56, 58 & 60 cm

Kona entered the cross market around 6 years ago with their now legendary Jake
The Snake. They have perfected this bike over the years and now produce a race ready Easton Scandium rocket ship version. Scandium is lightweight and rides ‘soft’ yet ‘stiff’ so it offers a perfect platform for off-road skinny tyre action. At £600 for the frame only it compares well with similar frames, however there is no fork included.
